Jason Crowley, CFA, CFP®, CDFA™
Partner

Jason Crowley is a founding partner at Divorce Capital Planning and financial advisor at Capital Planning Partners. As a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, Jason works with our clients and their attorneys to formulate creative options to complicated settlement issues. He specializes in developing comprehensive financial projections to analyze, address, and evaluate all facets of a divorce settlement. Jason has experience modeling cash flow projections and facilitating the division of complex assets such as stock options, business and venture capital interests, and real estate investments.

Jason has extensive training in family law specific Mediation and Collaborative Divorce. He is an active member in a number of professional associations including the Association of Divorce Financial Planners, Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts, as well as the California State Bar and County Bar Associations. He is a frequent guest speaker on the financial and tax issues in divorce for local organizations and divorce professionals. Previously, Jason served as a financial planner with Wealth Strategies Group at MetLife. He began his professional career as a financial analyst at Commerce Capital Group, a boutique investment banking firm specializing in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisory services.

Jason earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Economics and Accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he graduated summa cum laude. Jason has the distinction of being one of the select few financial professionals to hold the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) designations. He also holds the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7 and 66 licenses. Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Jason resides in Menlo Park.

Kenneth Noonan, MBA, CEP®, CDFA™

Ken Noonan is a founding partner at Divorce Capital Planning and Managing Director of Capital Planning Partners. As a Certified Estate Planner, Ken focuses on complex aspects of asset protection, wealth transfer and estate planning for affluent individuals, families, and business owners. He is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst with extensive experience developing advanced planning strategies for women with large estates. Ken has been consistently recognized for his significant achievements in the financial services industry.

Prior to establishing Capital Planning Partners, Ken enjoyed a highly successful corporate career that spanned over two decades. Serving as President, Executive Vice President and in other senior management positions, Ken played a vital role in several venture-backed and Fortune 500 companies, such as PlanetRX.com, Manor Care, IBM, and Sun Healthcare.

Ken earned a B.S. in Finance and Marketing from Florida State University and an MBA from St. Mary’s College in Moraga. He serves on the Board of Directors for Tri-Valley First Tee and is active in supporting several local charities. Ken shares his time between his residences in Pleasanton and Pacific Grove.

Charles Tyler, CDFA™

Chuck Tyler is a founding partner at Divorce Capital Planning and the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) at Capital Planning Partners. As a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, Chuck counsels our clients to ensure they are well-informed about the financial impact of their settlement options. He has particular expertise in the intricacies involved in the valuation and division of investment holdings, retirement accounts, and stock options during marital dissolution. Post-divorce, in his role as CIO, Chuck tracks the transfer of assets to new accounts, formulates investment strategy, and oversees portfolio construction.

Prior to establishing Capital Planning Partners in 2002, Chuck was a Vice President and Senior Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch and Dean Witter where he managed investment portfolios for high net worth individuals and corporate clients. A 20-year veteran of the financial services industry, Chuck has a deep understanding of global financial markets and has dedicated his career to advising clients on a wide range of financial planning and investment issues.

Chuck earned a B.S. degree in Business from Loyola Marymount University. He is an active alum of Bellarmine College Preparatory, and has been involved in community fundraising as a board member of the San Jose Repertory Theater and Junior Achievement. Chuck resides in the East Bay with his wife and three young sons.
